Final Production

Final Poster

Evaluation for poster

Looking back at my poster, I think it improved a lot from the first version. The first design was a good starting point because it allowed me to test different layouts, text styles, and image placements. One part that worked well was how the "R" in WORLD overlapped with the Travis Scott text. This created a layered effect that made the poster look more professional and interesting, even though it only used black and white colours.

After getting feedback from my teacher, I realised the poster needed more colour and did not stand out enough. Adding a gradient map to the image was the biggest improvement because it made Travis Scott the main focus and made the poster more eye-catching. I also added pink and purple colours across the design, which gave it a modern look and matched Travis Scott's style better.

I made changes to the text and where it was placed, which helped make the poster look more balanced and easier to read. Adding the event details in the bottom left corner made the poster feel more complete and clearly showed its purpose. The outline and background effects around Travis Scott also worked well because they added depth and helped him stand out from the background.

Overall, I think the final poster is much better than my first version. The colours, contrast, and layered effects make it more attractive, while the improved layout and text make it look more professional. This project helped me learn how different design elements can work together to create a stronger final design.

Banner

Evaluation for banner

Overall, I am happy with the final outcome of my banner. I started by placing the text in the centre so it would be the main focus of the design. This idea came from Travis Scott's promotional images, where he is usually the main focus.

I used dark colours throughout the banner because they match Travis Scott's style and help create the mood I wanted. To make the text easy to read, I used colours that stood out against the background. I also edited and faded the image of Travis Scott so it blended in well and did not take attention away from the important information.

One of the strongest parts of my banner is that it is simple and easy to understand. I did not add too much text or too many images. Instead, I focused on making the design clear while keeping the same style throughout.

To finish the banner, I added the text "Travis Scott Concert Soon..." in the bottom corner. I chose this because it makes people curious and encourages them to learn more about the event. I think this small detail makes the banner more interesting.

If I were to improve my banner, I would try different text effects and image positions to make it stand out even more. However, I think my final design is successful, matches Travis Scott's style, and would catch the attention of my target audience.

Concert Tickets

Evaluation for Concert Tickets

Overall, I am happy with how my concert ticket turned out. From my research, I learned more about design and used these ideas in my work. One part I like the most is the shadow effect behind the text because it helps the information stand out and makes the ticket look more professional.

When I added Travis Scott, I wanted him to blend into the background rather than take over the whole design. The transparency effect worked really well because it helped the image fit naturally with the background while still being noticeable.

Creating the ticket sales section was easier because the audience has already bought a ticket and is interested in attending the concert. Even so, I made sure to keep the same style and colours so that everything looked consistent and matched the rest of the design.

In conclusion, I think my final ticket design was successful and links well with my poster and banner. The final outcome was better than I expected, and I am proud of what I created. This project helped me improve my design skills and showed me how important it is to keep a consistent style across different promotional materials.

Final Evaluation

My initial concept for my final project was to create a series of promotional posters for the artist Travis Scott. I chose this idea because I am interested in graphic design and music, and I wanted to create something that would appeal to a modern audience.

The aim of my posters was to increase engagement and grab the audience's attention through bold visuals and creative designs. The target audience was mainly young people and fans of hip-hop music. My project focuses on graphic design and print media, helping me develop skills that could be useful for further study or a future career in the creative industry. This project was something I was passionate about because it combined my interest in music and design.

I feel the significance of my work on this project comes from my own experience of attending concerts and seeing how promotion plays a big part in attracting audiences. Through my research, I learned how artists use posters, branding, and marketing to build excitement around events. This helped me understand the different stages involved in promoting concerts and music artists. What resonated with me most was seeing how these promotional methods have developed over time and how they continue to influence music culture and audiences today.

My research and planning helped me develop my final project by looking at past concert tickets, posters, and promotional methods used by Travis Scott. I also researched his social media platforms to see how he interacts with his audience and creates excitement around events, music releases, and merchandise. This helped me understand the style, colours, and design features that appeal to his fans. I looked at professional promotional products and identified common features such as bold visuals, strong branding, and clear layouts, which I used in my own work. I planned my project well by creating ideas and organising my tasks, which helped me manage my time effectively and complete my final product on schedule.

The audience for my media product would be people who are interested in artists like Travis Scott and other artists in the rap and hip-hop genre. The main audience would be teenagers and young adults, as they are the age group most likely to listen to this type of music and follow artists on social media. I think the audience would like my media product because it uses bold designs and visuals that match the style of Travis Scott's branding and would help grab their attention.

I attracted my audience by using design styles that are commonly seen in rap and hip-hop promotions. One technique used by Travis Scott and many other artists is making fans feel personally connected to them. They do this through social media, concerts, and videos where they interact with fans and make them feel included. During my research, I noticed how important this connection is for building a loyal audience. I reflected this idea in my project by creating posters that matched Travis Scott's style and branding. I selected content that would appeal to rap and hip hop fans, using bold images, strong typography, and eye-catching colours. I also made sure the layouts were clear and professional so the posters would grab attention quickly and create excitement, similar to real concert and music promotions.

6.The methods I used to analyse and evaluate my ideas included looking at different artists and how they grow their audience and grab attention. I also looked at how they promote their work to understand what works best. During my project, I used my proposal as a guide to stay on track with my ideas. I also used feedback from others to help improve my designs and see what could be changed. When I got different opinions, I thought about them and used the most useful advice to improve my final work.

I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign to create my designs. Over the year, I have experimented with these programs and learnt a lot of new skills. I also used feedback from classmates and teachers to improve my work and make changes where needed. At first, I found the software a bit difficult to use and it took time to get used to it. I had some problems with things like layout and using different tools properly, but I slowly learned how to fix these issues. However, the more I practiced and used it, the easier and more natural it became. My skills have improved a lot across this project and I feel more confident using media technologies now, especially when creating professional-looking designs.

Personally, I have learnt that artists do not just release music and let people listen to it. Everything they do, from posters to social media and promotion, is made to increase attention and grow their audience. This then helps increase their popularity and success. I also learnt that my strength is creating strong visual ideas and designs, but I still need more practice with improving detail and layout in my work. Overall, this project has helped me understand more about how the music industry works and how important promotion is.

My final product matched my initial ideas quite well and in some ways turned out better than I expected. I aimed to show how artists use promotion and social media to improve the audience experience and build their image, and I think my posters reflect this clearly. I developed my idea through research into Travis Scott and other artists, which helped me understand how they present themselves and connect with fans.

Overall, I think the design and content of my final product is successful because it fits the style I was going for and appeals to my target audience. One thing that could be improved is adding more detail and experimenting more with layout. If I had more time, I would refine the designs further and make them even stronger visually. Feedback from my audience was mostly positive and showed that the posters were engaging and fit the theme well.
